Celebrate Independence

Have you thought about the Fourth of July yet? Celebrate all week with some of these family activities around the valley and avoid the insanity of the Strip.

Red, White and Tunes at the Springs Preserve
Food, entertainment and fun activities for the kids. They encourage you to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit and picnic in the gorgeous amphitheater. Doors open at 6 PM. Start the week on a high note this June 30th.

Sparkly Stories for the 4th of July
Storytime at Summerlin Library with themed activities on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Click here even more holiday activities at your Clark County library.

Summerlin Patriotic Parade
A great way to start the day. Starting at Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive, this parade is also celebrating its 19th year with huge Macy's-style balloons, performers, and favorite kids' characters starting at 8 AM.

4th with the Phil!
On Thursday, treat the family to an after-hours evening at the Lied Discovery Children's Museum with fireworks, music from the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and special Independence Day activities.

This also coincides with the Smith Center's activities which include outdoor food vendors and live music, ending with fireworks at 9 PM.

Fourth of July Celebration in Henderson (see Fireworks section)
An outdoor party from 6-9:15 Mission Hills Park with food, live entertainment, and an 18-minute fireworks display.

Also, every Station Casino will host a 9-minute display at 9 PM on the 4th of July.
