A year ago, I was sipping on a smoothie in the afternoon when I went into labor. Less than an incredibly hectic hour later, Dean was born! When you know you want to come out and see the world, you just know, I guess. I'm just thankful I didn't have him in the car.
I know everyone says it, but the year just flew by. I'm head over heels in love with my son and I've been trying to savor every second that he cuddles into me and pops up in excitement when I walk into the room.
Today Dean is officially one year old. Wow.
Here's to many more years of cuddling before puberty hits.
