How was your Easter?

Like I've said before, we always spend Easter weekend in Bakersfield with Chris' cousins and their family. They have a huge backyard with a play set, basketball hoop, trampoline and huge grassy area. Dianna called it a "park". Anywhere Chris can play with Nike with a frisbee is a park.

Dean lapped up the attention, too, as we sat on the patio. The kids played with bubbles on and off that whole day.

That dog Dianna's holding was amazing with kids. Poor guy's name is Wow-wow, but he was so patient with her and let her hold him for as long as she wanted. Michelle, Chris' cousin, gave him a Stromboli lesson. I told her to "teach him to fish" for once.

Afterward, the ladies made Easter bunny cookies.

On Easter, Michelle felt the flu coming on, which Dianna now has. But that day, she was out for the count. Chris and Dalton ended up setting up the Easter Egg Hunt.

Right around now, Nathan and John realized that we had snuck a few dollar bills into some of the eggs. Sarah got one and burst into tears, because she didn't want money. Dean was just happy to shake up his one egg.

We left a little after that. Since it was still daylight, I got a few shots of the gorgeous drive through the mountains. Check out that rainbow!

Hope you had a great Easter. What did you do?
