One Day Without Shoes at Ten Months

In all the Tough Mudder excitement, I neglected to recognize the amazing milestone Dean reached yesterday: turning 10 months old. He's become very adept at his military crawl and is now on the verge of possibly crawling the traditional way every time we have a good patch of carpet at a family member's house. We've come to believe that he just may skip that and just walk. He also stands quite well when supported.

He babbles so much now and I think Dianna, our talkaholic, has a lot to do with that. Dean has actually looked at Chris and me and said our names respectively.

We're also barefoot here today, recognizing TOM's One Day Without Shoes which is about bringing awareness to the fact that millions of children around the world don't have access to not just shoes but healthcare and education as well. Even though she's just two and a half, I'm excited to have a little lesson with Dianna about these issues.
