Brain Rot and Night Hiking

I feel like when I watch my brother-in-law during the day, who is going into the eighth grade, I can  feel my own brain rotting just being around him and his iPhone. You know when grammar starts to fail, reading sounds uncomfortably close to Dory's famous Finding Nemo "es-cap-e" line, and eyes develop an alarming glaze of stupidity.

So this summer I'm sharing a ton of activities in Las Vegas for the kids--at a lot of price points, including free and for different age brackets.

Here's one:

Spring Mountain Ranch Night Hikes

In different locations throughout the Red Rock Conservation Area and other state parks, these hikes are scheduled a few times per week. You need to call ahead to reserve a spot.

Chris and the boys went on a night hike last summer and loved it. The trail guide was informative, easy-going, and fun. And it's a great break from the summer heat.

The next night hike is Saturday, June 22nd.

More on night hikes.

Best part? Free.
